This album is original tunes by Tom Wright, and one cover, of Beck's "Missing". Conceived as electric jazz,, it is supported by an excellent group of Chicago jazz sidemen. Some fusion, some straight-ahead jazz, and lots of great improv and groove.
Tom uses a 10-string electric mandolin for most tracks, which has a voice similar to guitar, but with different sonority and range.
